Renewable Investment Fund
Union Energía together with our finance partners have set up our own dedicated investment fund to offer long term solar finance solutions delivered under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to enable commercial customers realize their energy cost reduction goals quickly, even when faced with restricted capital budgets. Providing our clients with the benefits of energy efficiency, without impacting their balance sheet.
All our energy solutions are fully funded, owned, managed, maintained and insured by Union Energía.
Power Purchase Agreements
Union Energía´s core offerings are Solar Power Purchase Agreements. These are a long term contract to purchase electricity generated from a rooftop or ground mount solar system. The systems are installed, funded, operated, and maintained by Union Energía for contract periods between 10-25 years.
The longer the contract period the lower the contracted price for the electricity. The systems are installed at the customers site, and off-set regular grid consumption, and may be paired with battery storage.
Rooftop Rental
In the scenario where a building is leased to one or more tenants, a roof rental product can be structured to provide an incentive to the landlord for the solar system to be installed. Shopping Centres, Business Parks, & Industrial Sheds are well suited for this product.
Tenants will receive lower cost electricity while at the site and the building owner will receive a new income stream, and possible improvements on the buildings sustainability ratings.
Residential Solar Solutions
Union Energía provides homeowners with simple and affordable clean energy. We believe that going solar should be headache and hassle-free. That’s why we supply the solar panels, and take care of all the installation and maintenance—for little to no upfront cost.

Land and Property Owners
If you are a land owner and want to turn your land into a solar farm we can help. We have two options either outright purchase as an investment, or as an income stream by renting out your land to Union Energía or one of our development partners.
If you own land and wish to rent your land for solar, we can install the solar panels, and provide you with an annual rent. The minimum site size for a ground mounted solar farm we consider is 130 hectares of useable land, subject to it having the right ground conditions, no shading and a suitable grid connection.
